ABSTRACT

The origin of humanities is ontologically critic and reflection. Therefore humanities takes the fate of critic of capitalism and class relations. In contrast, the humanities in South Korea has been practically used as a tool for of accumulation of capital and healing of an individual. In this situation, the thesis is to explore why there is the hot wind of humanities in businesses and streets a deep silence unlike in the area of labor movement in terms of anti-hegemony. As a result, the existing humanities is characterized as a surplus of healing and a short of criticism. Therefore labor movement must understand humanities as anti-hegemony strategy. For this purpose, this paper suggests the humanities of labor based on critic of capitalism, power relations, class against the humanities of capital and healing focusing on an individual. It puts the politics and class in humanities and makes solidarity with civic groups beyond healing and capital.
