AB - 從卜辭反映的情況看, 商代紀日採用天干地支相配的方法, 依其相配順序紀日, 卽所謂干支紀日法. 具體來說卽十天干與十二地支相配, 如天干「甲」與地支「子」相配爲「甲子」日, 以此類推, 至六十日後又有一甲子日, 反復循環. 此後干支紀日法便中國歷史上沿用了下來, 直到採用公元紀年爲止.
商代紀月則用數字, 按順序依次紀錄, 如「一月」․「二月」等, 採用陰陽合曆, 分一年爲十二個月, 若干年置一閏月, 放在「十二月」之後, 稱爲十三月.每月含之日有大小之分, 大月爲三十日, 小月爲二十九日, 其一月又有專名, 稱爲正月, 此名一直沿用至今. 此外, 還採用「旬」的紀日法, 以十日爲一旬, 從現今所見卜辭看, 商人對「旬」使用頻率相當高, 甲骨文中有大量卜旬之辭充分說明了這一點.
商人對一日之中各時段有很精細的劃分, 他們將一日分爲「旦」․「大食」․ 「中日」․「昃」․「郭兮」․「昏」, 還有「大采」․「小采」․「小食」․「暮」․「朝」等. 又將一年分爲「春」․「秋」, 無「夏」與「冬」. 積年則稱爲「祀」, 當年則稱爲「今歲」, 來年則稱爲「來歲」等, 偶或稱「年」. 而「年」主要表示穀物的收穫, 一般不用來紀時.
