ABSTRACT

The Christian community has formed a community like a utopia that could adhere to the essence of religion to declare a message of salvation in the crisis of the times and the state of Anomie. It has created life and culture with a shared sense of Christian spirit in its common living space. The “Jesus Family” is an excellent example of this kind of Christian community. In the face of social crises such as war and famine, they created a community by Chinese people who are fit into the rural society. Using the patriarchal authority of rural communities, the spiritual “household system” was established, and the theology of the Pentecost system suitable for the religious consciousness of farmers was developed into its central idea. Private property was eliminated, and a community was created that dreamed of becoming a “Great Harmony” for self-sufficiency through the communist and shared systems. The way of Jesus Family took root in the rural society and culture influenced N.C.C.C’s pastoral mission project. I think it brings meaning to the church’s appearance that is creating a local community today through Jesus’ family.
