ABSTRACT

The researcher set out to reorganize the Four-Fold Gospel as theological doc- trines and ideas in ethics. For this purpose, this paper explored ways to discuss each idea of the Four-Fold Gospel, including “regeneration,” “holiness,” “divine healing,” and “second coming” within the category of philosophical ethics as the priority is to find contact points between the Four-Fold Gospel and the philo- sophical domain to expand and reproduce the discourse of the Four-Fold Gospel. This study examines global value ethics as approximate values that could reach universal ethics. It encompasses both the aspects of recovery(getting bet- ter) as getting better from a destroyed body and positive thinking(better than) as keeping and maintaining a healthier body. The event of the second coming is or- ganized with the value of eternal “enjoyment” to all people within Christ. Such enjoyment can be fulfilled by the subordinate values of existential freedom from sins and cosmic justice from judgments.
