Transgressive Aesthetic of Kim dong-in's Fictions

ABSTRACT

This paper analysis Kim dong-in‘s short stories which show writer as a character or experiment writer's autonomy in the frame of 'transgression' and aims to consider the way in which he made a new figure of writer who took off the authority as a thinker. Through this kind of work, this study reveals that the problem of retaining the originality of writer, make distress about the autonomy of writer and reality of fiction can reach to describing self-disillusionment of writer. This paper changes the point of study of his fictions from interior of the fictions to exterior and pays attention to changing position of writer and reader, re-reading/re-writing of the Bible, exposure of the relations among writer, editor and literary circle and the way of writing fictions in which he described the process of writing fictions. This kind of point of view can reveal that he made a basis of his view of art and literature under the process of transgressing and overturning the established literary norms.
