AB - The works dealing with death in 1960’s novel have difference in method of social contradiction-conquest. this difference depends on what the work want to restore through the death do, that is ‘le Je-idal’ of l'imaginare or ‘l'ideal du moi’ of le symbolique. By this standard, the death in 1960’s novel fall into three types.
The first type is the impulsive death. In this works, the contradiction of le symbolique letting the character die is presented in fragments. As a result, this works haven’t suggested an alternative that can conquest the social contradiction and suggest the desire that destroy le symbolique.
The second type is the paradoxical death. In this works, the perception towards the contradiction of le symbolique has strengthened with structural dimension. As a result, this works have suggested an alternative that can conquest the social contradiction through the death and selected the death to secure self-identity in the new le symbolique.
The third type is the transcendental death. this works have impeached the right directivity of history based on the structura perception towards the contradiction of le symbolique. As a result, this works give all-out criticism le symbolique through the death and selected the death to secure self-identity in l'imaginare such as maternal uterus.
