Aims and Scope

The Society engages in interdisciplinary research encompassing a broad spectrum of fields, including Korean language and literature, culture, glocal (global and local) humanities, linguistics, Korean literature, comparative literature, translation studies, regional literature, world literature, digital humanities archives, and regional policy studies. Its primary objective is to contribute to the advancement and global dissemination of Korean humanities. In pursuit of this objective, the Society publishes the scholarly journal Glocal Studies in Language, Literature, and Culture. Furthermore, it provides access to previously published papers from the Korea Research Institute.
