AB - The purpose of this study is to find out how university students perceive Hyo and to come up with practical intervention measures to practice Hyo in their daily lives. For this study, 20 university students in nursing were selected for a study to collect data from in-depth interviews, and a categorization analysis and thematic analysis were performed using qualitative case approaches. The results of categorical analysis, First, research participants, concept of Hyo was that it was a ‘respect’ for parents and elders. research participant Second, research participants, perception on the Hyo education was ‘learning’ and it was very important to learn from school. Third, research participants, perception on the experience of Hyo was ‘sympathy’ and ‘modeling’. Fourth, research participants, awareness about how to practice Hyo was revealed ‘the match of thought and action’. Next, As a result of the thematic analysis, Hyo has identified four themes : ‘Life of gratitude’, ‘Tools of Personality Education’, ‘medium of generation unity’, and ‘ expression of self-culture’. Based on these results, the proposed effective Hyo education and practical intervention measures to practice Hyo in real-life.
