AB - There is one clear measure to judge whether a country is a nation with dignity? how the nation and its people treat the war deads who sacrificed their lives to protect their citizens and preserve their nation. In this vein, the excavation projects of the Korean War deads in the Korean War.
This is a significant milestone that will contribute to take Korea to a higher plane. However, there is a long way to go. We have already wasted too much time to the carelessness of previous administration. The excavation projects of the Korean War deads began in 2000.
The excavation projects of the Korean War deads are getting systematized day by day. However, the project's success requires more than the Ministry of National Defense(MND).
The government should make efforts with all it's available energy, such as forming an effective cooperation system between the MND. We should always bear in mind that our country, the Republic of Korea, would not exit now without the sacrifices of those soldiers who passed away. Now it is the time to encourage people to show more concern and vigorously contribute to the cause.
This is present only a direction of enhancement policies in the projects of excavating and identifying the remains. After this, it is important not only to exhuming and identifying the remains of war deads in the Korean War but also to take part in the foreign and North Korea.
