AB - This thesis is aimmed to explore the advance for Liaoxi of the Goguryeo. New information in this thesis will be revealed as followings: This thesis inspected the advance of Liaoxi for Goguryeo. It was carried out by a war between Sui and Goguryeo. That is, Yongyangwang of Goguryeo attacked Liaoxi first in 598 A.D. And it is connected with three attacks by Suiwendi and Suiyangdi. In 598 A.D., Suiwendi invaded Goguryeo with thirty thousand soldiers. At this time, Goguryeo advanced till Luanhe of Liaoxi by pursuing the soldiers of Sui. The advance to Luanhe of Goguryeo connected the third attack of Suiyangdi. Sui obtained only Muryora during the attack of Goguryeo in 612 A.D. So far, Muryora has presented a view of xinminxian of the north-road of Liaohe. But, Sui didn't attack the north-road of Liaohe in 612 A.D. Therefore, Muryora didn't exist in xinminxian. Here, Muryora fell by the of the Sui in 612 A.D. That is, Liaodun saw Caekbuwongwi. Because, the order of invasion of the Goguryeo of Tangtaizong is Liahe~ Liaodun~Liaze. So far, this thesis has inquired about advancement for the Liaoxi by Goguryeo. Also, this thesis inquired about the advance for Liaoxi of Goguryeo during the invasion of Sui. But through a war with the Sui, Goguryeo lost the right of regulation for west of Dalinghe. Through it, one can know that Goguryeo controlled the Liaoxi also possessed west of Dalinghe from 599 A.D. to 604 A.D. Therefore, through the advancement for Liaoxi by Goguryeo, one can learn very important historical events.
