AB - This paper aims to analyze the cases of integrated arts education where social reading is applied under the free semester system for middle school students, in order to provide practical methods for realizing the objectives of integrated arts education, particularly by offering lesson plans and accumulating evidence for the model titled ‘The Integrated Arts Education Program Based on Social Reading.’ By examining the specific implementation, this paper can serve as a foundational material for subsequent research aimed at developing an educational model that contributes to self-reflection based on individual initiative, reflection on the professional world, respect for humanity, and growth and development through daily practice and activities by utilizing the Integrated Arts Education Program Based on Social Reading. The research results of applying social reading to an integrated arts education program, which includes content appreciation and topic selection, writing activities, and presentation activities, showed beneficial effects on the overall Generic Learning Outcomes (GLO) of learners, including promotion of knowledge and understanding, activities, behaviors and development, skills, interests, inspiration and creativity, and attitudes and values. Furthermore, it was confirmed that the program influences learners to actively change their surrounding environment by fostering self-reflection, consideration for others, respect for diversity, critical thinking, and creativity.
