ABSTRACT

The whole world makes its form in the organic relation. In this way the process is achieved among those relations. It is completed in a certain central mediation. From old times the divination has been the asking method about the situation for human being. Among them I-Ching is included in the East as developing with human culture. I-Ching is not only the divination but also the philosophical book which represents the Eastern spiritual essence, the Tao as yin and yang. Namely, through I-Ching both the transcendental realm and the human life can be united as one. It is the meaning of I-Ching as the mating point. There appears the concept of Tong(通) in which human and situation become one. Micro cosmos human being and macro cosmos nature can be communicated at the same level. They are related with I-Ching. Furthermore, that concept is related with the notion of synchronicity in C. G. Jung’s analytical psychology. On that view, human psyche must necessarily be related and expressed with the outer world non-casually. Human psyche cannot be restricted to one body, but it can influence the whole world including the matter. It can also be influenced by the world. This theory shows that human is never separated from the world. The human mind exists in it. I-Ching and analytical psychology are the representation of human psyche and the expression of the relation with a surrounding world. Humans and the world can be, as a meaning, harmonized in oneness. It is valuable how I-Ching expresses the idea and analytical psychology of C. G. Jung explains the process. Obviously I-Ching and analytical psychology include the universal psychic contents of human being despite the differences between the East and the West. We hope that the old valuable gift will revive again in our time as ours.
