AB - This paper summarizes the ethical justification debates surrounding the application of gene scissors technology to human germ cells and human embryos, and it is indispensable to understand the requirements for the social publicization of gene correction technology for human germ cells and human embryos in Korea. We would like to look at the controversy over the moral status of human embryos, which has been an issue in the study of existing human embryos. Next, this paper summarized the point that the application of gene scissors to human germ cells can infringe the autonomy of subsequent generations. Lastly this paper shows how the requirements for the social publicization of genome editing technology for human germ cells and human embryos in Korea develop.
