ABSTRACT

This study aims to examine the meaning of everyday life in modern poetry using 'Noodle' as a material. The reason why this study focuses on the everyday life of modern poetry using 'Noodle' as a material is because 'food' is a representative material of everyday life, especially 'noodle' is considered to be a representative food among foods that can approach everyday life intimately. For Koreans, ‘noodles’ are the representative food of the village community culture called ‘feasts’, so ‘noodles’ can naturally attach the modifier ‘feasts’ to ‘noodles’ unlike other foods. Noodles, which have been eaten easily for a long time, are a friendly material frequently used in modern poetry. This paper aims to examine the characteristics of modern poetry based on ‘Noodle’ through everyday life. Everyday life acquires the epistemological value of reflection and rediscovery on dynamics and reality as the origin of life and life that is constantly repeated. As such, the ‘Noodle’ in modern poetry confirms that various aspects of everyday life are visible. In the everyday life of modern poetry based on ‘Noodle’, we can find the bond of familiar social space, warm gaze rediscovered in trivialism emotion, and the affinity cultural code of blood community centered on family.
