AB - This thesis examines the unique and original aspect revealed in Wang Fuzhi's interpretation of 'Daesangjeon(大象傳)' of gon-gwae(困卦) and the present significance of his view of gunja(君子觀) revealed therein. Wang Fuzhi is giving out a completely different solution from the previous ones in the analysis of gon-gwae(困卦)'s 'Dasangjeon'. In this thesis, what meaning is contained in his interpretation, what is the background that gave birth to this interpretation, and the significance of his view of gunja(君子觀) revealed here to us today is considered. In order to compare Wang Fuzhi's interpretation, I first considered the interpretations of 'Dasangjeon' of the previous and later generations. Then, the interpretations of 'Juyeoknaejeon(周易內傳)' and 'Juyeokdaesanghae(周易大象解)' were studied in turn. This is because his unique and original solutions are revealed in these interpretations. To summarize this, first, '澤无水' should be interpreted as 'the pond has lost the water', and if this is applied to the gunja(君子), the difficult situation symbolized by this gon-gwae(困卦) depends on the active and subjective decision of the gunja(君子). that it was brought about. Second, therefore, the gunja(君子) has to endure this difficult situation, rather, he sees this difficult situation as a condition for achieving his will. Therefore, the gunja(君子) should refuse to cooperate with the world where the forces of yin () cover and call the gunja(君子) symbolized by yang (). In this paper, we traced the background of why Wang Fu-ji interpreted 'Daesangjeon(大象傳)’ of gon-gwae(困卦) in this way, and also discussed the present significance of his view of the gunja(君子) revealed in this interpretation to us today.
