ABSTRACT

Life is a phenomenon that occurs in living organisms, and from an informational point of view, it is information processing that senses the environment and responds to it. Cells themselves, the nervous system, the immune system, and genes are also information processing. The chemical and physical phenomena that make up cells are also called information processing; biological societies made up of organisms are also maintained by information processing. Philosophy of life and information discusses the concept of information in life phenomena rather than dealing with information itself in life phenomena. The philosophy of information about life will mainly discuss the cognition of beings such as human beings, but since this cognition as a life phenomenon is a meta- and self-referential discussion for understanding life phenomena on its own, the conclusion of paradoxical logic can not be avoided. The constructive philosophy of information argues that all information is a belief system, not a truth, about the world that has been observed by life itself to solve the problem of survival. We explore how these conflicting belief systems are created and explore the direction of philosophy of information to explore the problems of life in a highly information and communication society.
