ABSTRACT

This study empirically analyzes the impact of data visualization and interaction elements on user experience (UX) and work engagement, focusing on two leading B2B collaboration tools: Atlassian and Google Workspace. The quantitative research was conducted based on the CUE model with 101 participants, while the qualitative research involved in-depth interviews with eight professionals. The findings indicate that usability and aesthetics directly influence users' emotional responses, and the degree of familiarity with the tool plays a crucial role in overall UX satisfaction. In particular, interaction elements such as tooltips, real-time comments, dropdown menus, and confirmation dialogs contributed to structuring information hierarchies and enhancing work engagement. Meanwhile, visualization elements—including profile images, colors, icons, and chart graphics—impacted users’ role recognition and information interpretation. Based on these results, the study suggests that UX design strategies for business software should prioritize experience-based customization of visualization and interaction elements rather than industry-specific approaches. This perspective underscores the importance of tailoring software design to improve user immersion and overall UX satisfaction.
