ABSTRACT

This paper is an attempt to theoretically clarify the political knowledge declared in the 20th Anniversary Declaration of Women with Disabilities Empathy. To this end, in section 2, this paper first seeks to clarify in the second section how the declaration perceives oppression of minorities, including disabled women. The declaration recognizes not just the suppression of the inherent identity of disabled women, but also the suppression of the sex minority, migrants and the poor, combined with their own oppression. This perception of the declaration will link the concepts of interagency oppression and matrix of domination. Next, in Section 3, we want to look at how the declaration grasps the resistance to this matrix of domination. The resistance that the declaration is directed at is not limited to the right-politics of identity While affirming their unique identity as disabled women, the declaration sets the process of solidarity through dialogue and discussion with other minorities at the heart of resistance. And we perceive each other's identities as changing in the process of this alliance. We want to understand the politics of solidarity involving this change of identity as transversal politics. Finally, the conclusion in section 4 will summarize the significance of the work of reading the declaration from the perspective of the intersection feminism and discuss how the declaration extends that political knowledge of the intersection feminism in the context of korea.
