ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to identify the movement characteristics of students in field experience learning by visualizing the log data collected from field experience learning using mobile devices as STP technique and to analyze the characteristics of activity at the point of retention. As a result of analysis of log data, the patterns of movement and retention were consecutively appeared, and it was confirmed that the place and time were different depending on the type of inquiry activity, and the place where the retention appeared was not only the inquiry point but also the non-inquiry point. In the case of field experience learning, it is necessary to carry out further analysis on the activity at the retention point since it is performed within a limited space and time. It was confirmed that the visualization of the movement log using STP can be used as a basic data for exploring log data having a complicated structure and it can be applied to various types of log data analysis.
