Single-crystalline SnO2 nanowires were successfully grown on Si(001) substrates via vapor-liquid-solid mechanismin a thermal chemical vapor deposition. Large quantity of SnO2 nanowires were synthesized at temperature ranges of 950~1000oC in Ar atmosphere. It was found that the grown SnO2crystalline by diffraction and transmision electron microscopy measurements. Broad emission located at about 600 nm fromthe grown nanowires was clearly observed in room temperature photoluminescence measurements, indicating that theemission band originated from defect level transition into SnO2 nanowires.Key words SnO2, Nanowire, CVD, VLS, Catalyst, Single crystalline, Tetragonal structure, Photoluminescence, Free exciton,Defect level, Sensors......... ... The synthesis of NaA zeolite membrane on a porous alumina support from clear solution by using hydrothermalreaction was investigated. Efects of reaction temperature, reaction time and seeding for transformation of zeolite Amembrane and powder which are produced in the reactor were monitored through X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis andformation of the compact and continuous membrane on the surface of porous support from clear solution. The large ZeoliteA poly-crystal was then formed through the disolution proces. Finally, the process was advanced from sodalite toamorphous. In case of powder, sodalite is formed in the early stage of reaction because of surounding space diferencebetwen membrane and powder crystal. Discrete surrounding space of powder crystal makes easy to transform to sodalite.From Zeolite A to amorphous through transformed product was rapidly advanced at high temperature while the membranesynthesized at 120oC in 12-hour period.Key words Hydrothermal synthesis, Zeolite A membrane, Seeding, Membrane formation

The crystallization process of glass-ceramics for dielectric layer have been examined by DTA, XRD someThe principal crystalline phase was identified as zinc metaphosphate [Zn(PO3)2] and zinc pyrophosphate [Zn2P2O7].Reflectance and dielectric constance increased with the addition of TiO2 filler, dielectric constant lower the out sidereflectance unchanging of the adding of Al2O3 filler.
