This study aims to propose implications for the development of archival content of archives management institutions in Korea by analyzing cases of the archival content on Instagram of the national archives in the Anglosphere. The basic information of the research target’s Instagram account, including the creation date, content, and the number of followers, was investigated, and the posts’ contents and interaction types with high user responses were analyzed. As a result, to spread the records information service using Instagram, producing images and short-form content that can be intuitively checked through mobile screens and creating content that will attract the attention of primary users are required. Moreover, it is necessary to develop content for informative communications that can be shared with other users. There is also a need to enhance the exposure and searchability of the institution’s Instagram account by strengthening connections with the institution’s existing online resources and enabling communications, such as using hashtags, following related institutional accounts, and providing feedback on the contents’ comments with followers. This study is meaningful in that it examined cases of archival content for Instagram and suggested their applications, and it can be used as basic data to help plan archival contents to spread the archival culture.

In domestic public institutions, administrative information datasets are recognized as electronic records that require systematic management. In this regard, concrete measures for the execution of records management have been discussed recently in the National Archives of Korea and the academic field. This study seeks to derive a plan to improve evaluation indicators that can effectively grasp the value of administrative information datasets and the matters to be considered when evaluating and selecting datasets in the records management of public institutions. This paper analyzes the theoretical background and current status of dataset evaluation and selection, derives considerations necessary for this process, and proposes improvement measures for evaluation indicators presented in previous studies. The results of this study are expected to lead to the revitalization of discussions on maintaining the public institutions’ dataset management system and supplementing the management process in the future.

In recent years, the film industry in South Korea has experienced a period of prosperity, evidenced by the numerous awards won at major international film festivals. Furthermore, growing global interest in K-content and the expansion of the OTT industry following the COVID-19 pandemic are providing favorable conditions for the development of the domestic film industry. Sound effects play a crucial role in conveying the atmosphere and emotions of a film, making them an essential element of film production. In response, the Jeonju IT & CT Industry Promotion Agency has been promoting the development of Korean-style sound effects since 2013. Furthermore, the agency launched an online service called the “K-Sound Library,” a sound effect archive, in 2021. However, the service has not been widely utilized because of issues with the database’s construction and the system’s problems. Therefore, this study aims to identify the K-Sound Library’s problems through interviews with sound effects specialists about the online service of the first sound effect archive in South Korea. Based on the interviews and analyses of foreign cases, the study suggests ways to improve the search services’ usability and the sound effects classification system.
