AB - 일본어에 있어서의 담화전개방법의 지역차는, 화자가 정보내용을 효과적으로 전달하기 위해 사용하는 담화표식에도 반영되어 있다고 생각된다. 필자는 이러한 담화전개 방법의 지역차를 밝히기 위해, 각 방언의 고년층 화자가 설명적 장면에서 어떠한 담화표식을 사용하여, 어떻게 이야기를 전개시켜 나가는지를 담화표식의 출현경향을 밝힘으로서 고찰해 왔다. 또한, 방언 연구에 있어서, 이러한 지역차와 함께 중요한 축으로서 자리 잡고 있는 세대차에 대해 고년층, 약년층을 대상으로 고찰해 왔다.
본 논문에서는 담화전개방법에 있어서 이들 고년층, 약년층과 크게 다르다고 예상되지만, 이제까지 거의 연구된 적이 없는 고교생의 담화전개방법에 대해 미야기현 센다이 방언을 대상으로 그 특징을 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다.
검토의 결과, 센다이 방언의 고교생은 담화표식의 출현빈도가 고년층, 약년층에 비해 매우 낮아진다는 것, 담화표식은 조합되어 나타나는 패턴보다 단독으로 나타나는 패턴이 매우 많은 것으로부터 고년층, 약년층과 담화전개방법에 있어서 세대차가 인정된다는 것을 알았다.
