ABSTRACT

Counseling is a process of encounter between a counselor and a client. There are cultural differences between a counselor and a client. Current theories of counseling and psychotherapy face to cultural issue. Theories of counseling and psychotherapy represent a variety of worldviews, each with its own values, biases, and assumptions about human behavior. Also, there is an increased need for indigenous models of helping used by healers and traditional figures in non- Western societies. In this research, multicultural counseling is introduced for the Application of Korean Christian counseling. Especially, researcher revealed traditional Korean cultural related to Confucianism that has been giving a great influence in Korean culture. Conclusionally, Christian counseling technics was applied for the Korean culture related to Confucianism.
