ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of nursery youth and to propose a biblical counseling approach to the anxieties affecting their career decisions. Child care institutions provide collective protection for children under the age of 18 who are difficult to take care of at home. Child care institutions adolescents able to receive personal attention and guidance will suddenly be asked to switch to self-reliance at the age of 18 without planning and practice for progress and employment. After leaving the nursery, anxiety about his future is making career decisions more difficult. From the Bible point of view, the root cause of anxiety begins with the sin that mankind has first committed, and arises from distrust in trying to control one's own life without trusting God. Therefore, when God recovers his identity as a master of life and a creation of God, not only his job problems but also his anxiety disappears. This differs from general psychology, which focuses on psychological stability by modifying behavior and drawing positive thoughts and thoughts. Thus, the principles and methods of Bible counseling were applied to adolescents at day care centers who were anxious to decide their course ahead of retirement, and through the actual case analysis, a Bible counseling approach to anxiety was presented.
