ABSTRACT

Psychologists argued that emotional intelligence might be more important than intelligence quotient for a success, and it might be applicable to studentsworking on a team project as well. This study examines the influence of emotional intelligence on the students’consideration and communication styles, and how their consideration and communication styles affect sense of happiness. Psychologists claimed that happy people are more likely to be successful at both work and in life. In this study, the researchers conducted an online survey for collecting data to verify the research model. We collected 99 data set throughout the online survey. In this study, we conducted empirical analysis using the PLS(Partial least squares) approach to support component-based structural equation modeling of the causal relationships between the independent variables and the dependent variable. We believe that the happy students who have successfully performed a project team become a successful member of society in the future. The results of this study provided useful implications for the importance of developing emotional intelligence and communicating in a considerate manner for students’success in the future.
