AB - The metaverse is a new platform that enables social, economic, and cultural activities in virtual spaces, driven by advancements in digital technology. This trend has introduced new possibilities and challenges in the realm of religion and faith. Churches are exploring new paradigms of digital ministry through the metaverse, seeking to expand and transform faith communities. Until now, however, most of the research on the metaverse in Christian churches has been theological. Based on this background, this study examines the current state of the metaverse in platforms such as Roblox, ZEPETO, and iFriend, analyzes how christian churches operate within these spaces, and proposes development strategies. This study aims to assist christian churches in understanding and advancing their presence in the metaverse.
