ABSTRACT

In view of the recent proliferation of cyber attacks, it is essential to establish a proactive and systematic framework for effective cyber threat response. This study introduces a formalized mechanism designed to facilitate the reliable generation and secure sharing of Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) through the integration of blockchain technology. The proposed mechanism employs a diamond model-based structure to define IoC information and utilizes a distributed blockchain infrastructure to ensure immutability, traceability, and resistance to tampering. By enabling real-time validation and secure dissemination of threat indicators, the framework significantly addresses the limitations inherent in traditional centralized and MISP-based sharing models. Consequently, the proposed system enhances the integrity, responsiveness, and interoperability of cyber threat intelligence sharing, thereby contributing to the establishment of a robust and collaborative cyber defense architecture among participating entities.
