ABSTRACT

CU convenience stores serve as community safety platforms such as prevention of disappearances, operation of safety guard homes, and prevention and protection measures for child abuse through a network of up to 16,000 stores nationwide. Through the payment terminal (POS) emergency reporting system and iCU program installed at CU convenience stores, 140 people, including at-risk child abuse and missing children, were safely returned home to their families. In Korea, the number of missing children and child abuse cases is serious every year. CU convenience stores have been the most active in the industry to prevent and find child safety and missing children. CU convenience stores need to discuss roles for cooperative program projects that can share and sustain missing prevention policies and work conditions through communication with local residents to ensure continuous child safety and prevention of missing children. There are many social enterprises that value economic and human values and strive to solve various social problems through social responsibility. The contents of this paper analyzed the effectiveness of the prevention activities of missing children for CU convenience store field workers who are promoting and discovering social enterprises and conducting child safety and missing child prevention projects to improve the correct awareness of our society. Through the evaluation of internal employees, the current status was investigated and the areas to be supplemented were considered.
