ABSTRACT

This study presents the need for and implementation plan of introducing basic real estate education in universities as a measure to protect the housing rights of young people. Recent housing issues, such as the increasing cases of rental fraud, have seriously threatened the housing stability of young people, which is closely related to a lack of legal knowledge regarding housing contracts. This study suggests that enhancing university students' understanding of real estate-related legal knowledge and contracts can be effective in preventing rental fraud. To achieve this, the study explores the approach of mandating basic real estate education in universities, helping young people minimize the risks that may arise in housing contracts through educational programs. The content of this basic real estate education includes topics such as contract writing, rental laws, and understanding the real estate market, aiming to cultivate the ability of young people to make rational housing decisions. This study provides valuable foundational data to protect the housing rights of young people and assist them in establishing stable living environments.
