ABSTRACT

In this thesis the relation between Sunseyoosa and Dootacho written by Lee-Ha-Gon(李夏坤), Dam-Heon(澹軒) is considered. He who was a civil minister, scholar, and book collector in the later Joseon Dynasty contributed to the development of local culture. Sunseyoosa(先世遺事), his prose collection, which is bound up in 2 volumes - vol. Geon(乾) which has 27 proses and vol. Gon(坤) which has 16 proses - is a manuscript in which total 43 of his proses are given. Dootacho(頭陀草), Dam-Heon's collection, is bound up in 18 volumes. This collection is a manuscript which Lee-Seok-Pyo(李錫杓), his son, collected the verses and proses his father had written till the end of his life. Vol. 1-11 are verses but vol. 12-18 are proses. Dam-Heon's 16 proses are collected in the manuscript, Sunseyoosa vol. Gon which he edited and wrote himself. The proses mostly correspond with those in Dootacho vol. 12-13.Contrast of the proses in Sunseyoosa vol. Gon and Dootacho vol. 12-13 proved that Dootacho was compiled with Sunseyoosa by addition and deletion. Therefore the proses in Dootacho vol. 12-13 was compiled with in Sunseyoosa vol. Gon.
