AB - This purpose of study is to identify the characteristics and significance of Uigwe(儀軌) as a good registry of official documents. The total number of official documents contained in Sunjongdaewang Sillokcheong Uigwe(「純宗大王實錄廳儀軌」) are 391, and they consist of about a half of a whole volume. 60 government offices are related with these documents, and the largest group of 108 documents are related with the Ministry of Finance. When compared to Cheoljongdaewang Sillokcheong Uigwe(「哲宗大王實廳錄儀軌」), there is no significant difference in the rank of government offices in terms of the related documents, but some differences in the cases of Gye and Jeon, the lower offices. Major differences include the ommission of dates on documents, and the record of entries on the documents of Byeolgongjak.
