ABSTRACT

This study investigated the method of bibliographical description of Zhizhai Shu lu Jieti(直齋書錄解題) which is a annotated bibliography printed by Chen zhen sun(陳振孫), the Southern Song Dynasty. The bibliographical description was examined in respect to title, volume number, author, published date, word of authorship function, and noteworthy examples. As taking it into consideration that Zhizhai Shu lu Jieti was complied by an individual in the 13th century, the significance of the bibliography was found in the fact that it established entries for annotated works based on considerably unified method of bibliographical description for that period.
