ABSTRACT

The phenomenological features appear consistently in Kim, Choon-soo’s poems and poetic theory. Phenomenon is always paired with the exist. The 'Flower' series by Kim, Choon-soo show the course that discovered phenomenon and brought off the ontological exploration. "Flowers․Ⅰ"and "Flower․Ⅱ" are the preliminary study of ontological reason. "Introduction for flowers" has the more advanced ontological reason. ‘Epoche’ is a premise for the ontological reason, it is symbolized by the word ‘dark’. The subject tries to progress philosophical reasons for the exist through ‘Epoche’. The phenomenological interest is appeared in Kim, Choon-soo’s poetic theory too. ‘Epoche’ is to eliminating the predicate and presenting images, to withholding the judgment to objects. In other words, This is not to explain or to interpret, but to present objects as it is. This is similar to ‘Epoche’ that excluse the established meaning of the objects. Kim, Choon-soo thought the ‘descriptive image’ that is destroyed the objects. "Flowering trees" by Lee, Sang is the example. This is not have a realistic object and consists of only the analogy of psychological state. This is a realm of consciousness disclosed through ‘Epoche’, is consisting of ‘Noema’-‘Noesis’. The relationship between subjects and objects is not natural scientific causal relationship but intentional relationship. "More primrose" and "earthquake" are results of ‘phenomenological reduction’ is based on “epoche’. ‘Nonsense poetry’ is to trying ‘Epoche’. The phenomenological feature of Kim, Choon-soo’s poems is influenced by Husserl’s phenomenology. It is important keywords to describe Kim’s poems. But in late poems, the phenomenon is connected to the ‘body’, so it is influenced by the phenomenology of Merleau Ponty. Thus, the early poems and late poems have a different philosophical basis. It is necessary to research.
