AB - In the field of Korean languae education was to be a discussion about whether the Korean language education can play a role in workplace literacy and adult literacy education.
In this regard, studies related to the ability to communicate within the National Competency Standards(NCS) will have greater meaning.
But will to ensure that the transition of universal communication capabilities and strategies in dealing mainly in the Korean language far a particular job situation to take advantage by finding a specific job communication strategies in language training in order to develop workplace literacy, namely the situation of the communication strategy(context), it is necessary above all to the materials, and activities. When this point has been overlooked, because even if we set a "practical language" courses, even if it is difficult to deal with workplace literacy efficiently at the language teaching-learning scene.
This study looked at this issue ordinances covered the SBAR communication model that is being actively discussed in the health and medical field.
S(situation)-B(background)-A(assessment)-R(recommendations) are very effective method in reducing the risk of medical errors through improved communication of the decision to increase the satisfaction of the members of medical personnel and patients and it has excellent scalability. Therefore, this model seems to be able to take advantage of a variety of Korean language teaching methods and materials for literacy development and to respond to the NCS communication skills.
