ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to analyze the trend of the researches on Choi Seunghee. From 1958 to 2018, a total of 289 researches related to Choi Seunghee were calculated by quantitatively analyzing the material of the Korean Educational and Scientific Information Service Institute. Among them, book, theses, and academic journal articles were targeted for this study. The criteria of research trend analysis were classified by research type, topic, and date. In the classification results by the research type, literature study occupied the largest proportion of 63%, and in the classification results by the research topic, Choi Seunghee’s art world was the most with 33.2%. The classification results by the research date, showed that the initiative research of Choi Seunghee in the development of the new dance was conducted in 1958. There were only four studies until 1988, but there were 28 studies between 1989 and 1998, and 118 studies between 1999 and 2008, which showed a remarkable quantitative growth. Also, a total of 146 research works were produced between 2009 and 2018.
