ABSTRACT

This study collected and analyzed the legal systems related to supporting intangible cultural heritageof local governments. As a research method, previous studies on intangible cultural heritage policieswere analyzed. In detail,he principles of intangible cultural heritage protection, discussions ontransmission communities, the current status of provincial and provincial intangible cultural heritagetransmission policies were examined. After that, the differences between local government ordinanceswere compared and analyzed. The analysis of local government’ ordinances was limited to 47 ordinancesderived through search under the keyword ‘intangible cultural heritage’ on the ‘elis.go.kr’. As a result,First, it is necessary to expand ordinances related to basic support for intangible cultural assets; second, compulsory activities should to be strengthened in a more specific and direct form; and third, theestablishment of a committee should be mandated and appropriate expertise and substantive authorityshould be secured. Lastly, the expansion of training facilities is required.
