ABSTRACT

This study analyzes the knowledge structure of Korean dance science research (2021-2025) using text mining on 447 academic papers. A CONCOR analysis, based on the top 75 TF-IDF keywords, was performed to map the primary research topics. The analysis revealed four distinct clusters. The largest cluster (G1) emerged as an <Integrated Research and Practice Core>, merging key themes of ‘technology’, ‘content’, ‘education’, ‘art’, and ‘body’ into a single, massive hub. This core was supported by three specialized satellite clusters: <Psychological Factors of Dance Majors> (G3), <Therapy, Wellness & Body Control> (G2), and <Conditioning & Rehabilitation> (G4). These findings indicate a dual trend: a dominant shift towards an integrated, holistic approach (G1), alongside increasing specialization in psychological (G3) and wellness/rehab (G2, G4) research. Notably, the ‘term dispersiveness hypothesis’ for biomechanics/anatomy was supported, as core technical terms (e.g., EMG, GRF) were absent from the Top 75 TF-IDF list.
