AB - This study aims at developing logical discussions on the books referred to in “Beoncheonmunjibhyeopju” as the object of study in two aspects considering the insufficiencies in the previous studies. First, it investigates the literature value of the other books referred to in “Beoncheonmun jiphyeobju”, except the books such as “Sibdoji” and “Hyeonjongdorok” alluded to in the previous studies in the view of Jibil (republishing of lost books) and gyogam (revision of books published). Through this way, the literature value of old Chinese books referred to in “Beoncheonmunjibhyeonbju” can be more precisely described. Second, in the view of books exchange history between Korea and China and of the history of science, it examines the meaning of the fact that the Chinese books referred to in “Beoncheonmunjibhyeobju were possessed by the Korea Dynasty when “Beoncheonmunjiphyeobju” was published. Through these discussions, this study reviews the literature value of “Beoncheonmunjibhyeobju” published in Choseon ages more concretely compared with the previous studies
