Established in June 1991, The Korean Society of Study on Chinese Language and Culture(KSCLC) is an academic organization consisting of over 1000 members who have specialized in Chinese linguistics, Chinese literature and culture, and Korean-Chinese Comparative language and literature written in Korean, Chinese and English. Members are holders of doctoral degrees from foreign institutions as well as Korean institutions of higher learning and teach at colleges and universities across Korea. Members are engaged in continuous research and take part in varied cultural and social activities in and out of their fields of specialization.
