ABSTRACT

Since 2021, Non-Fungible Tokens(NFTs), have emerged as a concept gaining global attention. This began to expand not only in monetary terms but also into the field of cultural content through collaboration with various artists. In particular, China does not accept foreign NFTs as is, but calls them China's unique 'digital collection' and provides cultural content while removing financial and speculative attributes. Based on national policy, they are promoting content that combines new concept NFT and traditional culture to the public. In a situation where China is investing a huge amount of money in the online cultural industry, examining the properties of digital collections that are different from existing NFTs in this paper can be seen as a process of examining the main focus of China's modern cultural industry. It is necessary to classify digital collections that have recently appeared in large quantities and pay attention to how traditional culture is implemented in the form of digital collections. China is expanding its business ventures by integrating traditional culture with both online and offline products. However, there are growing concerns about how these offerings differ fundamentally from existing online content. As China takes active steps in policy and industry to establish itself as a digital powerhouse, it is essential to observe how the country will leverage the new concept of NFTs.
