AB - This paper is written in order to research for the structures and the characteristics of in two aspects by analyzing itself..
Firstly, in the expression structures of , two sentences are connected by enumerating facts, presenting facts in time order and by co-relating cause-effect. Writer intended to inform or to teach facts, and to persuade reader logically by using that kinds of context structure.
In the way of paragraph developing, there are four kinds of style, that is problem-solution, nature order-artificial order, teaching-explanation-judgement order. By these styles of the way of paragraph developing, the writer tried to attest some document and to proof his opinion by those developing their thinking about Buddha and Buddha's teaching.
Secondly, in the aspect of genre, there are three kinds of genre characteristics: descriptive characteristics and dramatic characteristics, instructive characteristics. The descriptive characteristics of this work stems from narrating story in time order, and the dramatic characteristics of this work stems from personae's dialogues and activities, and the instructive characteristics of this work stems from writer's intention of teaching Buddhism. In the way of relationship of these three characteristics, the writer of this work used these two descriptive characteristics and dramatic characteristics for teaching people effectively. So these two descriptive characteristics and dramatic characteristics are based on the instructive characteristics. This means that the layers of genre characteristics are double. That's which two upper layer is descriptive characteristics and dramatic characteristics, one under layer is the instructive characteristics. In conclusion, this work is multiple in dimension of genre characteristics with the organic relationship of these three genre characteristics each other.
Even though I studied the structures and the characteristics of in two aspects., there could be the other things to study about these kinds of theme. I love to continue researching the other kinds of theme next time by writing the other research paper in the near future.
