ABSTRACT

In this study we analyzed the degree of alcoholic disorder that can adversely affect the health behavior of unemployed youth. As the research data, the 6th year 2015 survey data of the Korea National Health and Nutrition Survey(KNHNS) was used. We surveyed 1,077 youth (15-29 years old) and analyzed the surveyed data using the complex sample analysis method. As a result the proportion of high-risk drinking was 19.4%. The AUDIT score of spouse group showed 2.05 times lower than the non-spouse group(β=-2.05, p=0.10). In the subjective health status, the average health status group was 2.42 times lower than the group with bad health level(β=-2.42, p=0.008). Finally, the AUDIT score of the unemployed youth group showed 1.97 times lower than the working group(β=-1.97, p=0.00). We expect that an education program to prevent problem drinking, which can cause mental and physical harm to youth, should be included in the future job training program.
