AB - This study aims to examine the peculiarity of Shu Ting's works which are classified misty poems. For the purpose of this study, several misty poet's works are reviewed. Compare to another misty poet's works, a trait of Shu Ting's works is as followings. ① Shu Ting's works are indirect to critique the problems of Communist party than those of Bei Dao, Gu Cheng etc. ② Shu Ting's works are not the product of intellectual ideology but the product of accident and instinct. ③ Specially her works include the romantic feelings which was prohibited at that times. Therefore she is evaluated as poet of sentiment style. Overall, this paper discusses how to improve the interpretation of Shu Ting's works and suggests research implications for further research.
