AB - '讀圖時代'의 도래를 눈앞에 두고, 讀圖를 조망하여 보는 것은 저차원적인 독법일까? 아니면 의식적으로 讀圖時代를 인도하는 讀圖 문화일까? 본 글에서는 중국 고대 그림에서의 심미적 특색과 讀圖방식에 대한 분석을 통해, 현대 讀圖의 3가지 특성을 살펴보았다. 첫 번째는 회화의 공간의식이 특정한 시간의식이 되었다는 것이고, 둘째는 형상에 대한 미적 감상이 개인적인 문화적 취향이 된 것이며, 셋째는 피동적으로 받아들여진 것이 주동적인 창작으로 된 것이다. 사람들이 그림을 감지하는 과정에서 그것의 畵外音ㆍ景外意와 象外情을 읽어내야만 하며, 독일의 고전 회화와 고전음악의 발달이 문학가와 사상가의 문학적 상상력과 논리적 사유에 영향을 미치지 않았듯, 사람들의 읽기능력이 讀圖時代의 도래로 인해 쇠퇴할 리는 없을 것으로 믿는다.
