ABSTRACT

Sushi is a writer, politician, and scholar of painting who represents the repatriation. Therefore, studying him only in the literary and artistic fields is not enough to examine his overall status. In particular, looking at his academic inner characteristics is an important requirement to examine the academic trends and historical characteristics of the time he was sent back to Korea. In this paper, we examined his theory of promotion based on the reversal of news. Ethics refers to the theoretical establishment of a moral framework that implements the good for personal moral culture and the governance of the nation’s society. In this paper, he tried to identify the emotional qualities of his ethical theory. To summarize his ethical character, first of all, the denizelogists look down on nature and value only metaphysical nature. This kind of affection has a natural and practical meaning compared to the philosophy of human nature, which forces us to achieve a grand order of nature and culture. Second, it is the adult choice, the universal character and personality of the whole nation. Therefore, the nature and good are not transcendental but acquired experience characteristics that are determined through social practice. Third, to the news, the good seems to be derived not from a transcendental, but from a concrete experience of daily life. In addition, in terms of the practice of good, he sought to find the basis of good manners from concrete human feelings, not from a thousand, and had more practical characteristics. It also gave birth to a “Seong(誠)” education which is practice-oriented by sedentary scholars while they value “Sir”. It also gave birth to “Seong(誠)” education, a study that emphasizes practice, while Seonglists place great importance on the “Gyeong(敬)”. The science of Sushi is characterized by the era of republicanism along with the study of human dignity that was being formed at that time. As his Student Jin-kwan mentioned, the psychological characteristic of Sushi was more important than the literature community at that time. In this respect, it is very important to look at academic inner meaning before examining literary and artistic characteristics. And for intellectuals of East Asian Confucian culture, who had ideals that included ‘the true, the good and the beautiful’, the literature and art fields were closely linked to the realization of truth or practice of virtue. Considering this point, we can not overlook the ideological aspect of writers, including the news. This paper was designed to look at the ideological side of the news in a psychological writing called ≪Dongpo’s Commentary of Book of Change≫, under the intention of the overall project.
