AB - This study intends for providing a methodological foundation for information behavior research. To the end, we classify the 'Minority Groups' into two separate groups, ethnic minority and socio-economic minority. Then we reviewed the relevant literature with emphasis on analyzing the methodological characteristics. In details, our focus was on identifying the queries and variables of the collected major articles, and on introducing the methods used for data collection and interpretation in those articles.
