AB - 본 연구는 단순한 지식을 전달하는 장소에서 탈피하기 위하여, 학교도서관의 문제점을 분석하고 자율적이고 창의적인 능력을 신장시키기 위한 학교도서관 운영 방안을 제시하였다. 구체적으로 학교도서관 기본 시설 확충 및 예산, 사서교사 배치 및 제도적 장치 정비, 사서교사의 전문적이고 능동적인 활동, 교과목 교사와 협동체제 구축으로 협동수업의 전개 방법을 제시하여 학교도서관의 활성화를 기하는데 도모하였다.
