A Study on Problems and Improvement of Teacher Librarians' Evaluation System in Korea

ABSTRACT

This study tried to analyze the validity of current teacher's evaluation systems to evaluate teacher librarians. The result is as follow: The current teacher evaluation system has the low validity to evaluate the expertise of teacher librarians, and the result of using this evaluation system, must be unfair to teacher librarians. This study will suggest alternatives on an appropriate evaluation item to strengthen teacher librarians' expertise and accountability.
