A Study of Changes Experienced and Processes of the Participants in Group Bibliotherapy by Grounded Theory

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to investigate and understand changes experienced by participants in group bibliotherapy. For this purpose, individual interviews were conducted with 14 adults who were chosen by the best bibliotherapists through peer nomination and the results were analyzed by grounded theory, which is one sort of qualitative research method. This study has a significant meaning to provide a foundation of understanding of group bibliotherapy by exploring participants’ experiences in depth through grounded theory approach and revealing the changes experienced and process of group bibliotherapy.
