AB - This study aims to suggest a classification system for integrated management and shared use of disaster and safety information, which is currently produced and managed separately in disaster-related organizations. The study conducted a survey with organizations in charge of disaster management to analyze existing disaster-related classification systems and developed the first draft of the classification system. Later, in-depth interviews were conducted with disaster experts and a review was made by library and information science professors for the final touch. As a facet classification system consisting of 7 facets, it will be effective in supporting disaster management tasks as well as representing the complex nature of disaster and safety information.
